Wonderful.. And very timely..
So important to learn the lesson of taking care of ourselves first and then take care of the needs of others.
It really does become about taking care of others, but only after we care for self first and foremost.
You are a wise woman, Cordie B!
RIGHT ON CORDIE. I BELIEVE WILLIAM SHAKESPHERE SAID IT BEST, “TO THY OWN SELF BE TRUE.”
WHEN I TAKE CARE OF MY SPIRITUAL NEEDS FIRST, THEN — AND ONLY THEN — DO I HAVE SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE TO OTHERS.
@BrightNika. I’m delighted you found wisdom in these words. Your light shines so brightly…but tis good to change our batteries when our light starts to dim, eh?? PLL, C.
@Fibi. Your words always inspire me – as they me feel they may be of value to someone. Thanks for your continued inspiration.
@Vanessa. Although I know this, I write this, etc. I do have such a bad habit of not truely practicing this. Your words remind me of how loving the act of loving ourself is for all involved. Thanks, Sis! PLL. C.
@Glenn. We have to stay cognizant of the battle between spirit and ego. And, you know ego is so convincing, she might convince me she’s spirit sometimes. . . but that’s a whole other blog. Blessings, Brother! Peace, Light and Love, C.
@Tobeme. Thanks Mark! When we do not love ourselves we dishonor the god in us and it comes out externally, whether we are aware or not. PLL, C.
i am so trying to get there…..
@Paisley. I think we all are. At least were’re trying. . . . step by step, brick by brick! Blessings, Paisley
