Lingering lovingly into space
Searching for her saving grace
Looking up to bright blue skies
for the answers to the why’s
Lingering lovingly into spaces
Searching past familiar faces
Staring distantly through the eyes
For the truths amid the lies
Lingering lovingly into spaces
of the self for bits and traces
of self truths that tell no lies
to answers laying in disguise…

Where do you look for answers to your most intimate questions? Do you look to a higher being, to other people,to books and media, to nature, to self… are the answers found in one and in all of these sources???
Quote for the Day – The hardest part of finding the correct answer is finding the correct source. (Another question in and of itself
) ~CordieB.
Do the answers change not only with the source, but with timing….with space…..where and when….what do you think? Are the answers dynamic, fluid, evolving as we evolve! I’d love to know your views…
Submitted for Simply Snickers Poetry Prompt. This week’s prompt words are, Linger, Look and Love.
Peace, Light and Love, CordieB.

Firstly, wonderful poem Cordie….
Some say that the answers are always in front of us and that they are trying to get in through the blocks that we create at any moment in time. Therefore, the answers to questions can just pop into one’s mind, can be given to us out of the blue by someone else, we can look it up, we can be given symbols or synchronicities that show the answer embedded in the situation, or we can pay attention to our dreams both at night or while we have our eyes wide open. Therefore, it may take a second to get an answer or an entire lifetime. We can also envision the idea that everything we actually see and partake in is before us because a question has been asked. Once we start seeing the answers, then certain circles or patterns, or friendships, or hobbies dissolve overnight. They are no longer necessary to partake in because the message has been converyed. The same can also be said for physcial existance…when we figure out the answer to why we are here, there is nothing holding us back from leaving. The bonds that are in place that makes the world solid can be dissolved. Its like a question is an intention for an answer. Therefore, tension is created for us to solve the question. Break the tension, and the answers come freely. This is why it is always a good practice to meditate and empty the mind so that we have a better channel to recieve guidance or solutions to our perceived dilemmas.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks Bern for you well wishes…I’ve just begun to study different meditation practices and a 28 day meditation challenge. Although, I’ve not yet met the challenge, seems I’m just won’t sit down and b still lately, I do intend to really try this. Today the administrator, Jan, introduced me to the tool of “Lectio Divina ” Feel free to take the challenge, there’s no stress about it and it’s quite informative for newbys like myself – here is the link — http://www.awakeisgood.com/

HI CORDIE-
Lovely poem about the struggle and desire for truth – to uncover the lies and live in the light of self. And all answers are within ourselves, hidden in our hidden truths – we only need to trust enough to be seen and then understanding follows.
Love Gail’
peace to you my faith sister
I agree. With trust comes understanding… and with understanding comes trust!
We must trust that no matter what happens, we will be equipped to handle it! And that we will!
Blessings, Gail.
Lovely Cordie B.
All I know is love’s the answer
love alone will set us free.
All I know is love’s the answer
No matter what the question may be.
So that’s what I know of questions.
Yes, Jan. So often we (I) forget that. But the answer is always in love, isn’t it. We try to twist the answers to our questions to fit what we want, but if the answer is not from the spirit of love, it is not the right answer! Wow, you wrote a poem here. I love it. I’ll have to put it on one of my sidebars so that it is shown at all times. Such a loving reminder!
Blessings, Jannie!

Cordi,
An excellent beginning to a New Year. My resources are all those which you have mentioned. My biggest resource is that which is not known. Much of what I write comes through me not from me. Yes, the answers change with time and with sources and with muses.
Thanks Mark!. Answers etched in stone often are eroded, ya think? Answers etched in love survive all the elements of time.
Peace, Light and Love, C.
