Again, thanks Naomi for your contribution. We must instill in ourselves and in our woman to not allow ourselves to be exploited in this manner. And we must fight against any form of exploitation, especially, whether it be mentally, physically, or emotionally.

I agree , Once Sarah Baartman stepped on to that boat, she was no longer a women but a ‘Slave’ with no more rights than that of a Dog . Her only choice was to do or die. Our ancestors have been through so much and we have come so far, but there are still people out there pulling us back to these days and wilfully performing for the Western man

Once she had stepped on that boat she had lost her freedom as a women and become a Slave , a piece of property with less rights than a dog. Her only purpose was to amuse and entertain the Master. It was not a Job which resulted in pay, not a choice . Just do or die. There was no turning back. Even if she had managed to break the chains and run, where would she run too ? With her Black skin she would have been targeted and slowly killed

her features are not usual on Black women , the rounded bum with the voluptuous breasts is a blessing to our people . However the White men saw this as unusual with a sexual, & scientific content …as they weren’t familiar with Black women
