This is a repost. . . I feel in my heart it may help someone tonight…Peace, Light and Love. . . CordieB.
Hello beautiful people. First, I would like to say thank you for your conforting and wise words. Second, I do plan to give responses to all who have voiced their love on my blog lately. Currently, I do not have home internet connection, so I’m limited on the time I have to respond or get around to visiting everyone’s blogs. Also, I’m taking this time to simply be still . . . .
Stillness ~By CordieB.
When we are down in the Valley of darkness and confusion
And life appears to be an endless delusion
This is the time, when we must stop, drop and be still
Listen for the answers; release all self will
When we are down in the Valley of calamity
And troubles roll in like a raging sea
These are the times we must quiet our voices and actions
Await patiently for the answers, avoid any reactions
When we are down in the Valley and our hearts seem to bleed
And our emotions are in turmoil; lay still and take heed
to the answers that come, with the stillness of life
Listen for wisdom of truth; avoid stress and strife
The answers won’t come when we’re searching too hard;
they are never revealed when our heart is onguard
It’s only when our mind is clear from all tumultuous sources
That we hear the sweet revolution of truth whispered in silent voices
We must gaze into the cracked mirror to see what we create
We must probe our inner thoughts; because thoughts bring forth fate
We must search our desires; we must examine our fears
In stillness only will we discover the true cause of our tears
Still waters run deep; they allow us to see
the reflection of life looking back at the real me
Troubles waters only reflect an untruthful distortion
Turbulent waves only give forth a reflected contortion
Of the realness and allness that sent us into the valley
of darkness and confusion from unrealized reality
Of those things that God instructs from the difficult lessons
in humility that yields wisdom that blossoms into our blessings

She gazed upon his deep brown eyes
Glaized with love and fear; confused yet wise
she knew he loved her desperately . . . .
he could not risk her flying free
She knew she loved him through all fate
with him she’d found her mirrored mate
but with his love came blind control
Though undeliberate, such control shackled her soul
She knew her love was full and true
but there were other things she also knew . . .
she knew she could not be contained
into the life for which he’d planned
She knew he had insecurities
that would never allow her to simply be
he’d always possess the fear of flight
of her souring endlessly into the night
But since her love was true and tried
she eased his fears; stayed by his side
dealt with his subtle controls of will
convinced his way was better still
In time she lost desire to feel . . .
the warmth of the glowing sun
the coolness of the rain upon
her gentle being which she’d dreamed of
she’d traded peace of mind for love . . .
but still the longing in her eyes
revealed a tale of silent cries
this only hightend his insecurites
gave way to anger; raged immaturities
he’d often, confused, demand her to leave
but she’d hold to her sweet reprieve . . .
then one blessed day so crystal clear
the god’s of earth’s great atmosphere
gave strength to follow the raged command
thus she left the home of her beloved man
which she had humorously dubbed the promise land
though she knew his words were those of fear
the god’s gave her insight true and clear
that though her love was tried and true
living that life again; she she could not do
she needed the ability to shed her tears
to speak or write her words without the fears
of disillusioned, often drunken anger
for which she feared might trigger danger
But still her love so pure remained
Yet her peace of mind was hence regained
she knew she really loved this man
but feared rejection and anger once again . . .
She bathed in sweet tranquilities
she felt she finally could breath
she missed his presense even so . . .
Yet there was a stranger she had to get to know
She needed to get to know herself
not live her life for someone else
she needed to live her own desires
find out what really sparked her fires
Again, her love was tried and true
but being alone was something she needed to do
she’d always ran from man to man
if one doesn’t work out; another one can
was often her motto for many years
so in fact she had never faced her inner fears
thus she found herself crying the same sad tears
She felt if she simply returned for love
the same problems would arise in time thereof
for although she loved him beyond compare
she knew she’d lost a part of self somewhere . . .
Ah yes! she loved him desperately
and felt there love was meant to be
but with raw emotions and fear intertwined
she risked loosing his love to find her mind
To be continued. . . .

A Peace of Mind is Worth it All ~CordieB
Peace is a stranger to the rigid mind. Peace is a guest of the flexible heart.
In Heaven, peace has another name: light. On earth, peace has another name: love.
~Sri Chinmoy
Do you need or enjoy fear, worries and restlessness? If you don’t, then why do you keep inviting them into your mind?
Thoughts and feelings play a major role in everything we do. It is through these inner processes that we experience our happiness and peace of mind—or the worst day we’ve ever had. ~Doc Childre and Howard Martin, HeartMath Solution
It is essential to know that to be a happy person, a happy family, a happy society, it is very crucial to have a good heart, that is very crucial. World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace is not just the absence of violence but the manifestation of human compassion ~Dalai Lama
Remember, don’t waste time comparing your life to others who seem more fortunate. Being fortunate is based on how much peace you have, not how many luxuries or conveniences you have. Practice from the heart to make peace with what is, then life gives you more help to change things for the better. ~Doc Childre and Howard Martin, HeartMath Solution
In peace, sons bury their fathers; in war, fathers bury their sons. ~Herodotus
A self-transcendence-mind Has peace. A oneness-heart Is peace.
~Excerpt from Peace: God’s Heart-Home, Part 1 by Sri Chinmoy.

I am simply here to remind you and myself that there is another way. Through compassion and understanding, we can choose peace instead of anger. We can choose a peaceful mind instead of an anxious mind. We can choose happiness instead of sadness and we can choose compassion instead of condemnation, anger and regret. We are all spiritual beings, having a human experience. We have yet to remember our perfection, and that is why we are here. Someone with whom you may be angry is here to assist you in remembering your perfection. He or she is your teacher, as well as your student. All of his or her actions and reactions offer you an opportunity to choose peace in a situation where you once found the possibility of peace unobtainable. They offer you another opportunity to forgive what you once found unforgivable, and to love who you once found unloveable. It is in that choosing that you remember your own perfection, and in remembering your perfection, you will find peace, forgiveness and love within you now.

The more at peace you are with your physical world and everyone and everything in it, the more peace you will experience in your life. The more peaceful thoughts you have in your mind, the less fearful thoughts you have and the more peaceful a life you will experience. It is truly that simple. The more moments you spend having peaceful thoughts in your day, the less moments you spend having negative thoughts. The more time you spend having peaceful thoughts, the more peace you will experience. This might seem simplistic, and it is, for truth is always simpler than your ego allows you to imagine. The ego has no interest in truth and would have you believe that truth is complicated, inaccessible and unobtainable to mortal man.
